DESCRIPTION:The 33rd Annual 4th of July 5K Run/Walk and Firecracker Dash returns to Riviera Village in Redondo Beach on Independence Day morning for one of the South Bay’s longest-running holiday traditions. Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to take in a scenic course along the Pacific Ocean, with chip timing, age division awards, and cash prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K. Kids ages 4 through 9 can join the Firecracker Dash, with separate heats by age group and medals for every finisher. All registered participants receive an Independence Day run t-shirt. Whether you’re chasing a personal record or just looking for a festive way to kick off the holiday with the family, this South Bay event is a great way to start the 4th.\nDate: Saturday, July 4, 2026\nTime: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM PDT (Kids Dashes begin at 9:20 AM)\nLocation: Riviera Village, Redondo Beach\nAddress: 1805 S.
