Her book, Healing the Wounds of American Slavery offers a clear diagnosis to help remedy the pains of Black Americans. She dispenses fresh insights and presents a genuine sense of hope for Black Americans, and in fact, all Americans. Payge has been active with both the California Community College system and LAUSD where she mentored thousands of youth.\n
