Cigarette butts were the most commonly found item, but now small plastic pieces and polystyrene, commonly known as Styrofoam, has made its way into the top trash items volunteers are finding in LA’s favorite outdoor areas.\nOnce again, Heal the Bay will proudly coordinate cleanup locations in Los Angeles County in association with the California Coastal Commission and Ocean Conservancy.\nWe’d like to send a huge wave of thanks to our Coastal Cleanup Day 2023 organisers and sponsors!\n
