DESCRIPTION:We have a great season ahead of us for 2024 at Wilderness Park! We will continue our work effort to maintain, water, and weed existing habitat areas, and prepare for the planting season come Fall. \nVolunteers will be asked to assist with:\n\nwatering native trees (with Tree Gators)\nhand watering plantings\nmanaging hoses\nweeding out invasive plants\ndigging holes for new native plants\nplanting new natives \n\nWhat to bring:\n\nCome prepared with clothes that can get dirty and wet!\nClosed toed shoes (boots) are preferred.\nSunscreen\nWater (drinking fountains located in park) & snacks\nGloves and tools provided, although volunteers are welcome to bring their own. \n\n \nPlease review the available slots to sign up, and don’t forget to sign the waiver!\nVolunteer Orientation Video HERE\n \nPS – All participants will be added to our newsletter so we can let you know about future restoration days.
