Of course, the night’s grand finale is the famed fireworks show, which will paint the night sky with bursts of color, but the whole day will be jam-packed with fun.  TNT Freestyle Motocross will roar into the stadium with thrilling stunts, and the Family Fun Zone will have inflatables and games for kids. One of the biggest and longest-running celebrations of America’s birthday in the country is the annual AmericaFest Celebration at the Rose Bowl Stadium. “America’s Stadium” is throwing a weeklong party to mark the 100th anniversary of the Rose Bowl Stadium. The 96th Annual AmericaFest Celebration will open the celebrations on July 4th, while the Palomino Festival, featuring some of the best country music on offer and sponsored by Goldenvoice, will close them out on July 9th.

This year’s AmericaFest program will celebrate the stadium’s 100th birthday by highlighting significant milestones in its illustrious past, welcoming back fan favorite TNT Freestyle Motocross with an exhilarating, high-flying 30-minute spectacle, and include a musical performance by Drake Milligan.

Following his appearance as a young Presley in the CMT series Sun Records, Milligan issued his critically acclaimed self-titled EP.  American Songwriter, Rolling Stone Country, CMT.com, Fort Worth Weekly, Sounds Like Nashville, Taste of Country, and other publications have praised Milligan’s distinctive brand of traditional yet contemporary country. In addition to headlining concerts this summer across the nation, he recently played at Stagecoach. Not anything you want to miss!

The Rose Bowl Stadium and Goldenvoice have teamed together to offer visitors a free AmericaFest ticket with the purchase of a Palomino Festival pass, giving attendees the chance to take part in all the events. Visit palominopasadena.com, where customers will be asked to add their free AmericaFest ticket to their basket during checkout.
