Annenberg PetSpace Give Back hours bring together community members to create and donate essential supplies for local shelters.
About this event
As we approach warmer months, shelters and rescues are inundated with thousands of neonatal and underage kittens in need of foster care. Among the most vulnerable in the shelter system, these kittens often arrive without a mother and need extensive care. This month’s Annenberg PetSpace Give Back focuses on supporting the generous foster guardians and shelter partners who work tirelessly to help these kittens survive.
During May, community members can purchase items from our Amazon wish list to create foster care kits. Annenberg PetSpace will match all purchased wish list items to help as many foster homes as possible. Volunteers can join us at our Give Back sessions May 28-31 to help assemble the kits and make homemade heating pads which will be delivered to our local partners.
Registration is encouraged. However, walk-ins are welcome.
