East LA’s EAT SHOP PLAY WEEKEND Presented by Shop Local LA County
The LA County Department of Economic Opportunity and the Historic Whittier Blvd Corridor partnering up for East LA’s Eat – Shop – Play event. Come by on July 8th and 9th celebrate with us and get discounts to your favorite stores! There will be music, artwork, free swag and a grand prize for active participants!
Here’s how you participate!
1. Come pick up a sticker book and take it to participating stores to get fill your sticker book any time throughout the weekend
2. Return your sticker book by the end of the weekend to win a prize and to be entered in the running for a grand prize!
3. Then tell your friends and family about your favorite business on Whittier Blvd with #ShopLocalLA
The hope is to encourage LA Residents to buy local on Whittier Blvd., one of the longest standing business districts in LA County.
