Fun, Friends and Fitness for All: An Inclusive Community Event
Join us for our 2nd Annual All-Inclusive Community Event with Cal State Long Beach for an afternoon of fun, games, and activities!
On Saturday, August 6th, from 10:00 am-2:00 pm, the Gailen and Cathy Reevers Center for Community Empowerment (GCRC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, will host Fun, Friends, and Fitness for All, an inclusive community event for families of children and adults with and without disabilities. Now in its second year, on this day, members of Leimert Park and surrounding communities gather to enjoy various free inclusive activities such as live entertainment, adapted basketball, oversized board games, arts & crafts, face painting, games, music, a gardening demo, prize giveaways, hang-out station, and a raffle.
