Fundraising event at Wanna Chill for Kingston Navarro a second grader at Beryl Elementary school
Join the community in supporting a local family whose child has been diagnosed with stage 4 medulloblastoma, brain and spinal cancer.
Kingston, a second grader, was diagnosed with stage 4 medulloblastoma (brain and spinal cancer) In 2018. After 6 rounds of chemo, a stem cell transplant, and 30 rounds of radiation he went into remission. But, in September 2022 it returned. On May 18th, 2023, the family was given the sad news that his cancer is not responding to chemo and after 5 months of treatment it had spread further down his spine.
This fundraiser for Kingston will raise money needed to help him continue his battle with cancer. Many of his current expenses are not covered by insurance. He will be traveling to San Diego for a trial treatment. Because his cancer has spread to his spine, there is a high risk of paralysis, and he may be wheelchair bound afterward. Please join us in support of Kingston and his family during this unimaginably difficult time.
Kingston loves playing baseball. He is kind and known by his peers as being strong and funny. He has a younger sister and an older brother who are his support system. Mom and dad are completely heartbroken but are optimistic that he will once again be able to go into remission with the love and support from everyone he knows and doesn’t know. We thank our south bay community for their support of this family during this difficult time.
