Korean Liberation Day Celebration & Bell-ringing Ceremony
Please join us as we celebrate the 76h Anniversary of Korea’s Liberation. With the Allied Force’s victory over Japan in 1945, Japan’s brutal colonial occupation over Korea came to an end, and Korea was liberated. The day is known as “Gwang-bok-jeol,” meaning “the day the light was restored.” In the US, the date is also known as “the V-J Day,” marking the end of the World War II.
