LBCC PCC Summer Health Resource Fair
We partnered with @DisabilityRightsCalifornia (DRC) and @CalSCDD (SCDD) to bring you a Summer Health Resource Fair on July 9, 2022.
This event will focus on increasing access to COVID-19 services and resources in the community by offering free vaccinations and at-home testing kits, as well as gift card incentives for those vaccinated.
Additionally, the Summer Health Resource Fair will raise awareness on resources available to people in the community with disabilities and those with access and functional needs, as well as informational tables from local community-based organizations and exhibitors.
We will offer free food, music, face painting, games, superhero party actors, sensory-friendly activities, and gift card incentives for those who receive a COVID-19 vaccine or booster.
The first 125 people to get vaccinated will receive a $50 Visa gift card. These partnerships with DRC and SCDD expand existing funding, capacity and support to help ensure that COVID-19 vaccines continue to be accessible to everyone in a safe and convenient on-site location.
