Nature Walk at Forrestal Nature Reserve
Docent Guided Nature Walk
Saturday, March 26th, 2022 9AM ~ at Forrestal Nature Reserve
Do you enjoy walking in our beautiful coastal environment?
If so please join the docents from Los Serenos de Point Vicente for a walk through the Forrestal Nature Reserve. This is a guided walk which will appeal to a wide age range and offers some spectacular vistas of the coastline. The docents will be able to tell you about the local geology and there are many rock formations exposed in this area. You will also be able to learn about the plants and animals which make up our coastal sage scrub habitat. At the end of the walk, The Discovery Room in the Ladera Linda Community Center will be open to participants who can enjoy the vast array of specimens displayed there.
This walk is generally of moderate difficulty although steep gradients and rough surfaces make a few limited sections more challenging. Sturdy footwear is recommended and please note that in the event of rain, this walk will be cancelled.
We will meet in the parking lot at the Ladera Linda Community Center and very much hope that you will join us.
