134th Rose Parade presented by Honda
The inaugural Parade of the Tournament of Roses attracted 3,000 people and included horse-drawn carriages decorated with orange blossoms. The parade floats are a wonder of modern technology today, hidden behind flowers and other natural materials, more than a century after they were first used. The 5 1/2 mile path along Colorado Boulevard features energetic marching bands, high-stepping horse troops, and beautiful flower floats every New Year. On January 2, 2023, the Rose Parade presented by Honda gets underway at 8 AM.
