THIS IS A FREE EVENT.

Join us on Sunday, October 22, 2023, as we celebrate and honor LA’s Latin and Mexican heritage at the 11th Annual San Pedro Día de los Muertos Festival, presented by Discover San Pedro. This vibrant event, held in the historic downtown area, will bring together thousands of locals and visitors from Los Angeles, Orange County, and beyond.

Prepare to be captivated by a diverse lineup of live entertainment, featuring the remarkable MariachiDivas de Cindy Shea. This extraordinary, two-time Grammy-winning all-women ensemble pushes the boundaries of mariachi music, delivering an unforgettable performance.

In addition to the Mariachi Divas, you’ll be treated to captivating performances by Ellas, Neiya Arts, Julian Torres, and Danza Azteca Xochipilli. Local youth dance groups, including Folklorico Nadino de San Pedro, Folklorico Perlitas de Wilmington, and Dance Tech San Pedro, will also showcase their talents.

As you stroll through the streets of downtown San Pedro, you’ll be enveloped by the enchanting melodies of contemporary and traditionally inspired Mexican folklore music. This family-friendly event, which is completely FREE, offers something for everyone. Explore a variety of food options, visit the beer garden, engage in craft activities with your children, and admire the exhibition of altar contest entries.

We encourage all attendees to embrace the spirit of Dia de los Muertos by donning festive costumes and immersing themselves in the festivities. Downtown San Pedro will also provide free trolley rides for added convenience.
