Summer Fun Fest
Meet other pediatric epilepsy surgery families while enjoying food and fun at the spectacular Kid Space Museum where children of all abilities can learn, laugh, and explore.
Summer Fun Fest is a regional community engagement event that gives our families the chance to expand social connections with other families of children who impacted by epilepsy or who’ve had surgery to treat their seizures.
The museum’s spectacular 3.5 acre grounds include more than 40 hands-on exhibits for children, such as:
a physics forest where budding scientists can play with 12 hands-on, interactive exhibits that explore concepts such as levers and pulleys, trajectory, and momentum;
splash dance fountain;
trike track;
a giant hawk’s nest to climb on;
a real creek;
and challenging climbing towers.
Clinicians from local level 4 epilepsy centers, as well as service providers, will be invited to attend and share their resources in a mini-expo area, as well as mingle with our families.
