Four Generations of South Bay Hospitality
Andreanna Liguore’s family journey in the restaurant business began four generations ago at her great-grandparents’ deli, Giuliano’s, in Gardena. That legacy continued when her parents opened Gaetano’s Restaurant in Torrance more than 30 years ago. Food, hospitality, and community have always been part of everyday life for the family.
In 2015, Andreanna and her husband Sean opened Bettolino Kitchen to honor that legacy while building something distinctly their own.

Years after opening Bettolino Kitchen, Sean and Andreanna, busy restaurant owners and parents of three, noticed a need for food that was both convenient and genuinely nourishing. That idea became Wild Roots, a fresh, seed oil-free concept inspired by the way they wanted their own family to eat.

Wild Roots is their fresh, fast-casual concept in Torrance, focused on seed oil-free cooking, nourishing meals, and convenient food people can feel good about eating regularly.

What Inspires the Work
What inspires Sean and Andreanna most is creating spaces where people can gather, connect, and make memories, whether someone is celebrating at Bettolino or stopping into Wild Roots for a nourishing meal.
The biggest challenge has been growing two very different businesses while raising three children. It has taught the couple to trust their instincts, adapt quickly, and stay focused on their purpose.
Right now, they are especially proud that both restaurants are completely seed oil-free and prioritize local and organic ingredients whenever possible. Watching both businesses become part of the South Bay community in their own way feels especially meaningful to them.
A New Space for Celebrations at Bettolino
Bettolino Kitchen recently expanded with the Betto Room, a private space designed for celebrations, gatherings, and special events, along with a new, covered outdoor terrace. Both additions give guests more ways to come together, whether they are hosting a milestone event or simply enjoying dinner outdoors with family and friends.
Community and Advice for Other Business Owners
Community in the South Bay means showing up for one another, according to the Liguores. It is the relationships built between families, schools, local businesses, and neighbors who continue to support each other year after year. For them, that means creating welcoming spaces, giving back whenever they can, and being part of the everyday moments that make the South Bay a place they are proud to call home.
Their advice for anyone starting their own path: do not wait until everything feels perfect, because it never will. Start with a clear idea of why you are doing it, work hard, listen to your customers, and be willing to change what is not working. There will be difficult seasons, but staying consistent and surrounding yourself with good people makes all the difference.
Andreanna says her family inspires her most. Growing up in the restaurant business showed her how food can bring people together and become part of a community’s story. Now, as a mom of three, she is inspired to create restaurants she feels proud to share with her own family and community, from the ingredients they use to the spaces they create. Their guests inspire them too, and seeing families celebrate at Bettolino and make Wild Roots part of their everyday routines reminds them why the work matters.
