70+ Kid-CEO South Bay Kidpreneurs Are Coming to Torrance
South Bay Kidpreneurs is a local organization founded by two moms Lina Awshee and Cara Petrat in 2020. During the pandemic, their own daughters explored many creative activities to occupy their time, which in turn gave these moms the inspiration to create an outlet for them to showcase their creations in a positive, community-based event.
70+ Kid-CEO South Bay Kidpreneurs Are Coming to Torrance
The South Bay Kidpreneurs typically hosts two fairs a year, one in the fall/winter and one in the summer showcasing over 70+ local “Kid-CEO” run businesses. All of the vendors at their fairs are kids who are between 5-17 years of age. Each vendor is required to submit a written application and a 2 min video pitch of their business before officially being accepted as a vendor. Once accepted, each business if required to follow a roadmap journey of entrepreneurship including working on product production, marketing, finance planning, booth designing, and customer service/engagement practice!
