From November 25 through December 24, enjoy a variety of events at the Garden that capture the spirit of the season. As soon as you enter the Garden’s gates, you’ll see fresh seasonal plantings and can’t-miss photo possibilities, including our unique take on well-known pine trees. Shop for gifts or for yourself at our Palm Circle kiosk, which will have a brand-new aesthetic and seasonal products. Throughout this time, Merry + Bright will be included into all of the Garden’s activities, including Nature POP! and food and drinks at Dottie’s. The Harry Sutter Memorial Turkey Trot Fun Run is an annual event hosted by the City of Torrance Community Services Department. On Thanksgiving Day, the three-mile fun run will get under way at 8:00 a.m. A fantastic post-race chance drawing with mountain bikes, gift cards to restaurants, gym memberships, and many other amazing prizes will take place following the fun run. An official Turkey Trot shirt will be given to each registered participant. Please be aware that the Turkey Trot will go on regardless of weather.

The atmosphere in Riviera Village is fantastic. The popular Holiday Stroll will be held as usual on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 5 PM to 9 PM, the first Thursday after Thanksgiving. The best holiday songs are playing in the background while Christmas lighting illuminates the streets! As you meander through the Village talking, buying, and soaking into the holiday mood, shops remain open to welcome you.

A fundraiser for Mychal’s Learning Place will be held on December 10th in California during the California Great Santa Stroll. The fun run or walk is a 5K distance open to people of all ages and abilities. We anticipate 1,000 Santas to stroll from Hermosa Beach to Manhattan Beach and return this year.
