REDONDO BEACH FIRE DEPARTMENT FIRE SERVICE DAY – OPEN HOUSE SATURDAY, MAY 11, 2019 10AM – 3PM
Join us for our annual Fire Service Day, on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Fire Station 1, 401 S. Broadway and Fire Station 2, 2400 Grant Ave. Fire Service Day is held nationwide by Fire Departments to provide communities like Redondo Beach with an opportunity to visit a fire station and get to know the firefighters who serve and protect us. Fire Department members will be on hand to demonstrate some of the equipment used for extrication, firefighting, paramedic equipment, and the personal protective equipment each firefighter uses. This is a great opportunity to bring your family and tour the station, see the fire engines and witness a demonstration of your Fire Departments capabilities. Come and get acquainted with the firefighters who serve the community, and better understand the duties they perform, everyone is welcome. Donations will be accepted to “Fill the Boot”, and all funds will be donated to local charity TBD.
