Long Beach Airport’s Festival of Flight Returns on Saturday, October 21, 2023!
Serving as a kickoff event for Long Beach Airport’s year-long celebration of its 100th anniversary, the 2023 Festival of Flight will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023. The event is the Airport’s largest community event of the year and is expected to attract more than 10,000 attendees. Stay tuned for updates!
Attendees are expected to attend the outdoor event between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Attendees are advised to bring water, wear sensible shoes and be prepared to be outdoors, rain or shine. Service animals will be permitted, but pets will not.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages to the event. However, please note that alcoholic beverages are not allowed. Coolers are also prohibited, and bags may be subject to inspection. In addition, they will have a delightful selection of food trucks on-site, offering a variety of culinary options for everyone to enjoy.
The entrance is situated on the west end of the airfield, precisely at 3590 East Wardlow Road, Long Beach, CA 90807. Please note that entering “Long Beach Airport” in your maps may lead you to the incorrect side of the airport.
You are encouraged to carpool, utilize public transportation, or park in the designated overflow parking area at no cost. A shuttle service is conveniently provided for transportation to and from the Festival of Flight, running from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
