Summer Reading Art Show
As a way to promote this year’s Summer Reading Program theme, Find Your Voice, the Redondo Beach Public Library is presenting the Redondo Beach Public Library Summer Reading Art Show.
The Summer Reading Art Show will take place on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 12:00-2:00pm in the 2nd Floor Large Meeting Room. We invite and encourage patrons of all ages to submit original pieces of art of all mediums that they have created to be included in the Art Show.
Have a song or poem you would like to share? Would you like to submit an original work of art? Please contact the Youth Services Department to schedule a time for us to review/listen to your selection at the Main Library in the Children’s Department between Monday, July 31st and Wednesday, August 9th.
The Redondo Beach Public Library reserves the right to decide which art is appropriate for display and reserves the right to deny any artwork from display. The artwork chosen for display does not represent the opinions of RBPL or its staff. On the day of the Summer Reading Art Show, artists will bring their art to be displayed and then take their work home after the program ends.
