On the California State University, Long Beach campus, there is a place called the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden. Belmont Shore

A beachside neighborhood called Belmont Shore is home to approximately 250 different companies. A neighborhood with unhurried, small-town beach moods that offer a singular destination for food and shopping.

Excellent eateries that range from fine dining to takeout, coffee shops to pubs, and delis to sweet shops can be found in what seems like an infinite list. You may eat outside all year long since this neighborhood has the most restaurant patios in the whole city.

Guided Tour of The Queen Mary

For the first time since March 2020, the City of Long Beach is pleased to once again welcome guests onboard the RMS Queen Mary, starting on December 15, 2022. The City will provide free guided tours to the general public for a brief period of time to commemorate the reopening of certain ship components and to express gratitude to the locals for their understanding and support throughout the ship’s shutdown.

A historical docent will lead visitors on a hour-long tour, which will take them past the Promenade Shops, Observation Bar, Queen Salon, and Royal Salon, among other locations of the Queen Mary’s Promenade Deck and magnificent views of the Downtown coastline. In addition to learning about the ship’s past, particularly its eerie past, tour guests will view a brief movie in Heritage Hall detailing the crucial repairs made to the ship during 2022.

Aquarium of the Pacific

The largest aquarium in Southern California is the Aquarium of the Pacific. It showcases more than 100 exhibits and around 12,000 creatures to honor the Pacific Ocean, the world’s biggest and most varied body of water. The cold seas of the Northern Pacific, the temperate Southern California/Baja area, and the pleasantly warm coral reefs and lagoons of the Tropical Pacific are all depicted in its galleries.

Go on a Gondola Ride

The Gondola Getaway is the oldest and largest fleet of gondolas in America, having been founded in 1982 at Naples Islands, Long Beach. The Gondola Getaway is unique in part because to the beautiful canals of Naples Islands and its skilled gondoliers. A unique romantic journey is provided by the flowing canals, five bridges, tranquil bays, and million-dollar residences.

The Laugh Factory

According to USA Today, the renowned Laugh Factory is the “#1 comedy club in the United States.” Locals and visitors to LA can go there for a guaranteed grin, and the biggest names in comedy go there to feel like they’re a part of comedy history. Numerous comedians’ careers have been advanced by Laugh Factory, which also continues to develop new talent through its comic magazine and iconic stage.

The Pike Ferris Wheel

There are 20 gondolas on this Chase-manufactured giant wheel, and each one can accommodate up to six people. Make sure to go for a ride around dusk… simply stunning. On the opposite side of the port, it offers a best views of the Queen Mary.

Long Beach Museum of Art

LBMA is home to a historic mansion, sizable galleries, gardens, oceanfront dining at Claire’s at the Museum, and a distinctive Museum Store with local goods. It is situated on a spectacular cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
