Guided Tour of The Queen Mary
For the first time since March 2020, the City of Long Beach is pleased to once again welcome guests onboard the RMS Queen Mary, starting on December 15, 2022. The City will provide free guided tours to the general public for a brief period of time to commemorate the reopening of certain ship components and to express gratitude to the locals for their understanding and support throughout the ship’s shutdown.
A historical docent will lead visitors on a hour-long tour, which will take them past the Promenade Shops, Observation Bar, Queen Salon, and Royal Salon, among other locations of the Queen Mary’s Promenade Deck and magnificent views of the Downtown coastline. In addition to learning about the ship’s past, particularly its eerie past, tour guests will view a brief movie in Heritage Hall detailing the crucial repairs made to the ship during 2022.
Aquarium of the Pacific
The largest aquarium in Southern California is the Aquarium of the Pacific. It showcases more than 100 exhibits and around 12,000 creatures to honor the Pacific Ocean, the world’s biggest and most varied body of water.
