A new survey highlights the best Christmas towns in the country and where you should visit if you want to enjoy an extra festive holiday this year.
Compiling data on 152 famous Christmas towns in America, MyDatingAdviser has come up with a list of the top 25 best cities for families to visit at Christmas time. The research focused on 21 key metrics including holiday activities, holiday food, weather, hotels, and more.
The Best Christmas Town In America
Taking the number spot as the best city to visit for Christmas is Helen, Georgia. Formerly a logging town at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this quaint spot has reinvented itself as a Bavarian village. Every December the town of Helen comes to life with the Festival of Trees, an auction featuring artist-decorated trees. The town also hosts a Kinderfest, a Christkindlmarkt, and a tree lighting ceremony at the center of the Alpine-themed village.
