Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience, a new exhibition built in collaboration with the National Geographic Society, will soon transport visitors to Ancient Egypt’s wonder and mystery. The exhibition, which opens on the 100th anniversary of King Tut’s tomb discovery (Nov. 4, 1922), brings the National Geographic Society’s archives to life in a multi-gallery journey through the boy king’s story.

Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience

Beyond King Tut mixes cinematic storytelling and soaring images to immerse visitors in the land of the golden king like never before. Tickets are available at beyondkingtut.com on sale now.

Beyond King Tut is produced by Paquin Entertainment Group and Immersive Experiences, which includes the creative team behind the international King Tut artifact shows that drew millions of visitors. This summer, the exhibition will make its debut in the United States.

The celebrated Beyond Van Gogh and Beyond Monet shows, which have garnered over 3 million people from around the world, are among Paquin Entertainment Group’s exhibition repertoire. The world-renowned Normal Studio in Montreal will bring the wonders of ancient and modern Egypt to life from the National Geographic Society’s photo and video collections, delivering a trip across Egypt like no other.

“It was such an honor to tour King Tut’s treasures around the world, but those objects have returned to Egypt forever. Beyond King Tut brings together some of that same team along with the all-stars of immersive art to present one of the world’s most fascinating stories in a whole new way, with no boundaries! Guests will get to experience the splendor of Egypt all around them and voyage with us to the Ancient Egyptian afterlife,” said Beyond King Tut creative producer Mark Lach.

Beyond King Tut will be a must-see for anyone interested in Egypt and the history of King Tut,” said Kathryn Keane, vice president of public experiences for the National Geographic Society. “New technologies are making it possible to fully immerse people like never before in important stories from our past, allowing us to develop connections and understand history’s influence on our present and future generations.”

Beyond King Tut Experience Details

Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience opens in Los Angeles Nov. 4, 2022 and runs through Jan. 2, 2023, with closures only on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Visiting hours are Mondays–Fridays: 9 a.m. – 8 pm. (last entry at 7 p.m.) and Saturdays & Sundays: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. (last entry at 8 p.m.).

Tickets start at $18 for kids 5 to 15 and $28 for adults, which additional costs for Flex or VIP admission. Tickets are currently on sale.
