Sunday, July 1
Redondo Beach Fireworks – Celebrate Independence Day at the City of Redondo Beach Fireworks Spectacular Sunday July 1st, 2018 at Seaside Lagoon! Our community event offers a family-friendly atmosphere and a front row seat for this year’s Fireworks. Enjoy all day supervised swimming and activities at the Seaside Lagoon featuring water slides, fountains and plenty of beach sand. The Seaside Lagoon will open at 2:00PM, the Fireworks are scheduled for 9:00PM and you can stay and enjoy the music until 10:00PM while the traffic lets out.
USC 4th of July Concert in the Park, Manhattan Beach – Join the USC Alumni Club of LA Beach Cities and the USC Alumni Veterans Network for a 4th of July weekend potluck picnic while enjoying the Navy Band Southwest at Polliwog Park. Bring your favorite dish or (adult) beverage to share. Fun for the entire family. Meet at USC EZ Up near the gazebo off Manhattan Beach Blvd. Picnic starts at 4:00pm.
Community Friendship Day, Carson – Come to our Community Friendship Day!! Join Carson in attempting a Guinness World Records title for most people making slime simultaneously!!

25th Annual 4th of July 5K Run/Walk/Kids Dash, Redondo Beach – Celebrate the 4th of July with a scenic run along the Pacific Ocean and enjoy our 25th Annual 4th of July 5K and Firecracker Dash on Wednesday, July 4th, 2018 at 8:00am presented by UCLA Health & Plaza Del Amo Animal Hospital!
Begg Pool 4th of July Pool Party, Manhattan BeachJoin the Aquatics staff for a great celebration of our nation’s independence! There will be water games, water balloon tossing, swimming, and music. No food will be provided but you are more than welcome to bring a picnic to eat on the grass area.
El Segundo’s 4th of July Celebration – The Daytime event will take place from 10am – 3pm on Stevenson Field. There will be community booths hosting games, selling food and much more! Stay tuned for details on our hula-hoop contest, watermelon eating contest and three legged races! The Night event will begin at 5pm with the Main Street Band playing your favorite hits on Stevenson Field with firework beginning at 9pm.

4th of July at The Queen Mary There’s no better place to spend Independence Day than with us! Come experience an “All-American” summer aboard the Queen Mary as special live entertainment, family games, arts & crafts, special historic tours and a patriotic theatrical movie in the Queen Mary Theatre and so much more fill the decks of the legendary ship. To top off the night the Queen Mary will present its signature fireworks spectacular filled with patriotic music while you enjoy a summer evening under the beautiful Southern California night sky with the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean.
