Code Ninjas Torrance: Summer Camps for Future Game Developers and Engineers
Let’s be honest. Your child is going to spend a significant chunk of this summer glued to a screen. They’ll beg for more Roblox time, negotiate for extra Minecraft hours, and argue that watching YouTube tutorials is “basically learning.”
What if they were right?
At Code Ninjas Torrance, summer camp doesn’t mean putting devices away. It means picking them up with purpose. Kids walk in as players and walk out as builders, creating their own games, coding their own mods, and designing projects they’re genuinely proud of.
This is a paid partnership with Code Ninjas Torrance, but our enthusiasm is 100 percent genuine. We are excited to share this with our community.

Summer Coding Camp Overview in Torrance
Most summer programs treat technology as a reward or a break between activities. Code Ninjas flips that completely. Technology is the activity, and the learning happens so naturally that kids don’t even realize they’re building skills that will serve them for years.
Each camp is led by trained “Code Senseis” who guide small groups through week-long projects. By Friday, every camper has something to show for their week: a playable game, a 3D printed object, a coded robot, or a produced video. That dinner table conversation shifts from “nothing” to “I coded an obstacle course in Roblox and my friends can actually play it.”

Flexible Scheduling for Working Parents
Camps run Monday through Friday with morning and afternoon half-day sessions. Sign up for both to create a full-day experience. Early drop-off and late pick-up options are also available for families who need extended hours.
Code Ninjas Torrance is located at 4636 Del Amo Boulevard, Torrance, CA 90503.
- Morning Session: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
- Afternoon Session: 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM
- Full Day Option: Combine sessions with a supervised 30 minute lunch break
- Extended Hours: CREATE hours available from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Popular Coding and STEM Camp Highlights
With 13 camp themes running from June 15 through August 7, there’s something for every kind of kid. Here’s a taste of what’s on offer.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
This is the camp for the curious kid who keeps asking about ChatGPT. Through coding, games, and robotics, campers learn the fundamentals of how AI actually works, then build their own projects that apply those concepts in creative ways.
Roblox and Minecraft Coding
If your child already lives inside these worlds, these camps let them peek behind the curtain. Roblox Coding Basics teaches kids to design 3D worlds and bring game ideas to life. The Advanced Coding camp pushes further; campers build timed obstacle courses using Lua and publish them to the global Roblox community. Minecraft Modding lets kids craft custom mods with new ores, blocks, weapons, and more using MCreator and Blockbench.
Robotics and 3D Modeling
The LEGO Robotics Engineering camp uses Spike Prime kits to design robots that actually move including a charging rhino and a dancing troupe. For the creative builders, 3D Modeling and Printing lets kids design custom objects in Tinkercad and hold them in their hands by the end of the week.
YouTube and Content Creation
For the aspiring creator who wants to go beyond recording on a phone, the YouTube AI Production Studio explores AI-powered video tools and special effects. The Content Studio camp covers the full creator workflow from branding, thumbnails, recording, editing, uploading, to copyrights and fair use.

Who Should Attend Code Ninjas Torrance Camps
Camps are designed for kids ages 5 to 14, split into two groups. The Jr. Ninjas program (ages 5ā7) is built for early learners with no reading skills required. Kids work through hands-on activities and guided digital projects that introduce coding through play. Camps for ages 8 and up assume comfort with a keyboard and mouse, and push kids into creative territory that would challenge some adults.
No prior coding experience is needed for introductory sessions. And for the kid who’s already dabbling? Advanced camps like Roblox Advanced Coding and AI and Machine Learning will genuinely challenge them.

Registration and Tuition Information
Registration is currently open for all summer sessions. Families are encouraged to book early as popular weeks often reach capacity quickly.
Tuition is determined at the time of registration. Please note that payments are non refundable within 30 days prior to the specific camp start date.
To see the facility and meet the staff, families can book a free session or tour through the official website. This allows parents to find the best fit for their child’s interests.
