Thomas Dambo’s TROLLS: A Field Study
Now through October, General Admission to the Garden will includeĀ Thomas Damboās TROLLS: A Field Study, a magical experience featuring 12 large Trolls made entirely from reclaimed wood.Ā The Trolls had previously paid a visit to South Coast Botanic Garden in 2023. This year’s exhibit features all new Trolls displayed across the Garden’s 87 acres. Guests can wander beside these magnificent creatures and discover them tucked into immersive locations across the grounds.

Troll Treks
While you’re welcome to discover the Trolls on your own, you can also join in on aĀ Troll Trek: a walking tour full of wonder.Ā Tickets includeĀ an exclusive guided tour of Thomas Damboās TROLLS: A Field Study as well as General Admission.Ā On this 40-minute expedition through the Garden, youāll follow your Tour Guide to discover and meet the Twelvelings as they collect data for their Field Study.
This is an exclusive ticketed event happening only on Saturdays and Sundays at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m.Ā Tickets for the Troll Trek are $12 for Members and up to $33 for non-members.Ā A Troll Trek Mobility Ride is available on Thursdays and Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. for those with limited mobility.Ā
