Disney Jr. just Delivered a New Show Called T.O.T.S
Last week, we got a sneak preview to the adorable new Disney Jr show called “T.O.T.S.” Special guest appearances were made by the talented Broadway sensation Megan Hilty (“Smash”) as K.C. and creator Travis Braun (Disney Junior’s Vampirina and Disney Channel’s upcoming series Fast Layne.) We had a blast celebrating this new show.
“T.O.T.S.” is a heartfelt animated comedy series for preschoolers, explores the hilarious adventures of best friends Pip and Freddy, a tenacious penguin and a kind-hearted flamingo, who are the only non-stork delivery birds in-training at Tiny Ones Transport Service (T.O.T.S.). As new members of the esteemed team, these junior flyers must use tender care in taking baby animals—kittens, cubs, calves, bunnies, puppies and joeys among them—from the nursery to their forever families around the globe.
This show was can be found on Disney Jr and was created for kids age 2-7. It’s a series is designed to communicate themes of friendship, nurturing, perseverance and accepting other’s differences through relatable characters, humorous situations and a variety of charming baby animals. Each episode features two 11-minute stories that highlight the use of creative thinking, teamwork and problem solving to model for young viewers that there is more than one way to achieve a goal. Music also plays an important role in the series with a new original song in every episode, in addition to the recurring delivery tune “Bringing This Baby Home.”
The series voice cast includes multiple award-winning performer Vanessa Williams (ABC’s “Ugly Betty”) as Captain Beakman, Broadway sensation Megan Hilty (“Smash”) as K.C., Jet Jurgensmeyer (“Last Man Standing”) as Pip and Christian J. Simon (Disney Channel’s “Sydney to the Max”) as Freddy.
“T.O.T.S.” is created and co-executive produced by Travis Braun (Disney Channel’s “Fast Layne”). Vic Cook (Disney’s “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse”) serves as executive producer with Chris Gilligan (Disney Junior’s “Goldie & Bear”) as co-executive producer and supervising director. Guy Toubes (“The Stinky & Dirty Show”) is story editor and Rob Cantor (“Disney Junior Music Nursery Rhymes”) is songwriter and composer. The series is produced by Titmouse in association with Disney Junior and carries a TV-Y parental guideline.
