Santa Claus Is Coming to Lomita, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills Estates, and San Pedro in 2025
Santa Claus is returning to the South Bay as the Lomita Sheriff’s Station brings the beloved Santa Sleigh back to the neighborhoods of Lomita, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills Estates and San Pedro. This annual tradition brings holiday cheer to families throughout the community and creates a festive way for children to see Santa close to home.
This special visit is coordinated by personnel from the Lomita Sheriff’s Station in partnership with Green Hills Memorial Park. A volunteer vehicle from the Sheriff’s Station will precede Santa’s sleigh with lights and music to announce his arrival. Families are encouraged to come outside, wave to Santa, and enjoy a candy cane as the sleigh makes its way through each route. Signs will be placed throughout the neighborhoods noting Santa Stops Here. There are no rain make up days for the 2025 season.
Santa’s 2025 schedule begins on Friday, December 5 and continues through Friday, December 19. Each night includes visits to different areas within Lomita, RPV, RHE and San Pedro. Routes and estimated times are listed below so families can plan an evening of holiday fun.

A Community Tradition That Lights Up the Season
Families throughout the South Bay look forward to this annual tradition that brings neighbors together and adds festive joy to the holiday season. Children get a chance to see Santa in a personal and memorable way, while parents enjoy the community connection and holiday spirit that fills each neighborhood as the sleigh rolls through.
Residents are encouraged to enjoy the route safely, follow directions from volunteers, and keep the signs in place so everyone along the path can enjoy a smooth Santa visit.
