Community Spotlight: MomSquad Clothing
MomSquad Clothing is an active wear lifestyle brand, for busy moms everywhere; because your day is a workout. Born out of frustration with the existing activewear brands – some beyond our budget, and some out of sync with our lifestyle – MomSquad was created to reflect and support our bodies and our lives.
We believe getting dressed should be effortless. Women deserve to feel confident no matter the life stage they are in. MomSquad believes moms deserve to be supported – from their clothing to their village. We offer key performance pieces (with thoughtfully-designed details such as compression panels), along with fashion layering items that take you from the gym to a playdate, lunch, or a coffee run.
Each piece has been wear tested to ensure it can keep up with you; whether you are at Cross fit or chasing your little ones around town. With over 20 years in the fashion industry, combined with real life experience (the founder is a mom & triathlete), we have used that knowledge and skill set to make our clothing comfortable without sacrificing style, fit or paying premium prices.
What Inspired You to Start MomSquad Clothing?
I was honestly tired of seeing $100.00 black basic leggings being advertised to me……and I was uninspired by the imagery of the more expensive brands. I saw beautiful young models doing yoga wearing crop tops and white spandex and as a mom, I wanted fun and fashionable clothes but didn’t want to feel like I was trying to recapture my pre mom days. I wanted to see models like me, wearing activewear that was fashionable and function able. Clothes that showed my lifestyle and gave solutions that made sense, both aesthetically as well as financially.
What is One of Your Proudest Moments?
My proudest moment was the day I celebrated 1 year in business! On Mothers day of 2020 during the height of the pandemic, I launched MomSquad Clothing, and here I am a year and a half later helping women look confident in all walks of life.
What Can One Expect When Working With MomSquad?
I am an Ecommerce store which means I only sell products online. However, you can expect to find a variety of models, and clothing to suit a busy moms lifestyle from workout clothing to maternity and outwear.
