Monster Jam® returns to Los Angeles for Monster Weekend of Family Fun. This summer, from August 26–28, 2022, the most thrilling racing event for families in the world will rev through Downtown Los Angeles for an exhilarating weekend at Crypto.com Arena. Monster Jam, which is marking its 30th year this year, includes top athletes engaged in thrilling displays of speed and agility.

SoCal Monster Jam fans will see intense rivalries, daredevil maneuvers, and intense head-to-head competitions for the Event Championship will be on display for SoCal racing enthusiasts. The 12,000-pound Monster Jam trucks are expertly engineered and push all boundaries as they compete for points in the Freestyle, Skills, Donuts, and Racing events. The male and female Monster Jam drivers are professional, world-class athletes who have mastered the necessary dexterity to drive 12,000-pound vehicles capable of performing backflips, vertical two-wheel skills, and racing at speeds up to 70 mph to produce jaw-dropping, live motorsports action seen around the globe.
In the Los Angeles competition, eight talented athletes compete for the title while putting on a show that is consistently innovative and exciting. Tyler Menninga takes the wheel of the storied Grave Digger® wrecking ball, which is commemorating its 40th birthday this year. Elvis Lainez, the 2022 BKT Arena Freestyle of the Year winner, drives El Toro Loco®, Bernard Lyght debuts in Megalodon®, and Kayla Blood, a veteran and the 2022 Donut of the Year winner, attempt to clinch the event championship in Soldier Fortune ™ .
