Disney Channel is proud to announce a brand new superhero comedy series, Hamster & Gretel. The show follows the adventures of two siblings who were abandoned in the forest as children and were saved by a magical hamster. Now, they have powers and use them to fight crime!

Kevin and Gretel are two kids in the Disney Branded Television superhero comedy “Hamster & Gretel” who are about to get superpowers from space aliens. Something goes wrong, though, and it’s Gretel, not her hamster (known as Hamster), that suddenly acquires new powers. Now, Kevin, the protective older brother, must figure out how to utilize Gretel and her pet Hamster to defend their city from strange threats. 

“Hamster & Gretel” is a comedy that draws inspiration from Emmy-winning creator/ executive producer Dan Povenmire’s relationship with his younger sister. “Hamster & Gretel,” inspired by Dan Povenmire’s relationship with his younger sister, explores the hilarious interaction between siblings with a big age gap. Disney Television Animation produced the new music-filled series, which debuts FRIDAY, AUGUST 12, 2022 on Disney Channel.
