Our Great National Parks is a brand new Netflix series narrated by President Barack Obama. The five-part documentary series takes viewers on a journey to explore some of the most incredible National Parks and protected wild spaces on earth and learn about the natural wonders of the world.
Each episode features some of the most remote national parks on the planet, which are home to many unique animal species and stunning landscapes unlike any you’ve ever seen. From the producers of Blue Planet II, the series takes a deep dive look at the magnificent parks and how the wildlife they protect benefits our planet and the importance of conservation.
The new documentary series premieres on Netflix on April 13, just in time to celebrate Earth Day and National Parks Week.
More Animal Fun Coming to Netflix in April
In addition to this stunning documentary, there are some other exciting new Netflix series for kids premiering in April that are centered around animals and nature.
Creature Cases is a brand new preschool series following the adventures of special agents Sam and Kit, who bounce around the globe and use science facts and cool gadgets to solve the animal kingdom’s mysteries. The first season premieres on April 12.
In April, other new Netflix shows for older kids include Battle Kitty (April 19) and Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles (April 28).
