The Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce are thrilled to announce the Inaugural South Bay Women’s Summit, a powerful gathering of female leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs. The summit will take place at the beautiful Shade Hotel in Redondo Beach from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will feature two inspiring panel discussions, moderated by Laura Stotland, Founder and CEO of Local Anchor.
About the Moderator: Laura Stotland
Laura Stotland is a seasoned marketing, digital, and social media strategist with nearly 25 years of experience, having worked with Fortune 100 companies, including The Walt Disney Company and iHeart Media. As a dedicated community builder and advocate for nonprofits, Laura founded Local Anchor, a thriving digital platform connecting locals and visitors with events and activities in the South Bay. In addition to running Local Anchor, Laura is passionate about empowering nonprofits through the Local Anchor Foundation, which she founded to create a centralized hub for community support.
Keynote Speaker: Nyanza Shaw
The event will kick off with a keynote speech by Nyanza Shaw, Principal and Founder of Shaw Esquire, an accomplished attorney with over 25 years of experience in the creative industries. Nyanza’s impressive career includes overseeing business and legal affairs for Fremantle Media and representing clients across the entertainment and media sectors. Her commitment to mentorship and community impact makes her an inspiring figure in the South Bay Women’s Summit.
