Begin your journey in Gru’s house, where you’ll be recruited for his latest plot, in which you’ll be transformed into an actual Minion. Things don’t go as expected after completing “Minion training”! You’re whisked away on an incredible journey inside his super-villain laboratory in a matter of moments. After the ride, there’s an interactive Minion-inspired dance party to keep the laughs flowing.
The Simpsons Ride
Take a virtual reality roller coaster trip with America’s favorite animated family, The Simpsons. Someone is ruining Krustyland, Krusty the Clown’s low-budget amusement park, as the voyage begins, and you’ll smash and blast your way through it alongside Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie in an over-the-top non-stop adventure. Don’t be concerned. They’ll do everything they can to get you back in one piece.
Absolutely worth the stop at Lard Lad for a GIANT, and I mean GIANT donut and later in the day, swing by Moe’s Tavern for a Duff Beer!
General Tips Summer at Universal Studios Hollywood
- Bring your own water and snacks.
- If possible upgrade to the preferred parking, otherwise it’s a pretty hefty walk through the center of City Walk to get from the parking to the park and back.
- Don’t forget sunscreen, and re-apply often.
- Keep an eye out for deals on Groupon and on Universal’s site too.
