Born and raised in Los Angeles, I've lived in many diverse communities within our city. As a second-career teacher, I’ve also had the privilege of gathering a wealth of experience regarding life and culture that I can now use to enrich my students. Since 2017, I’ve been a preferred substitute teacher for El Segundo Unified School District (elementary), an honor for which I am grateful. As a newly credentialed teacher, experienced tutor, and distance educator, I’m excited by the opportunity to help support children and their respective families through this pivotal moment that is greatly impacting education.
