Community Spotlight: LA Move Consultants

Community Spotlight: LA Move Consultants

Are you overwhelmed with stuff?!  Maybe you are preparing to move?  We are excited to get to know this local company, LA Move Consultants, a company that not only will assist in every aspect of your move, but will also help you get your home organized.  Get to know LA Move Consultants on this weeks Community Spotlight!

-This is a sponsored post-

Tell us about your company?

“LA Move Consultants is a full-service company specializing in move management and helping people organize their homes or small business’. We are BBB approved, and a member in good standing of NAPO (National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals.)

Our moving and organizing Services include (but are not limited to): decluttering for sale, assisting with organizing/sorting/eliminating personal items, donation coordination, overseeing packing/unpacking, coordinating future installs, helping with furniture placement and so much more.

We also recently launched Virtual Organizing packages to help people during the quarantine.”

What inspired you to launch this business?

“Life!”

What is one of your proudest moments?

“Hmmm, I guess one of my proudest moments was early on in my business, when I received a text from a client weeks after we had finished helping her unpack and organize her new home. In the text she told me that every time she opened her bathroom make-up drawer she smiled and thought of me. The fact that she actually took the time to tell me felt so genuine that I have never forgotten it.”

What can one expect when working with you?

“When working with me my clients can expect my complete attention, honesty, and a high energy non-judgmental approach to helping them achieve their organizing goals. When working with new clients, before we even start organizing, we will have a consultation to make sure that we are a good fit. I love meeting new people and hearing the stories about their possessions. I look at each job as a learning experience and am fortunate to have the best clients in the world!”

Tell us a little about you:

“As Founder and Owner of LA Move Consultants, I have been helping clients organize, de-clutter, manage and move their homes for over a decade.  My love for moving started when I left New York (my childhood home) and went to the University of Arizona for college.  Living in several different states before settling in Southern California, I leveraged my education in Fine Arts and my experience in organizational media management to help plan, design and build three homes.  As my two children grew, I used my personal experiences and multiple relocations, to help me turn my strengths into a new career that I love; helping others organize their lives and ā€œre-move” the stress in moving and organizing.

I am a current member of NAPO (National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals) and the South Bay Neighborhood Group Leader of the Los Angeles Chapter.  I am also in the process of becoming certified in Virtual Organizing. I currently reside in Manhattan Beach with my kids and my dog, Liberty.”

What do you enjoy doing in the South Bay when you are not working?

“When I’m not working, I enjoy taking long walks on the strand with my dog and or friends.  I’ve always loved photography and just can’t seem to get enough of all the beautiful flowers in Southern California.”
