Introducing Dogtoberfest
Dogs -and their humans, are invited to enjoy the fun at South Coast Botanic Garden’s Dogtoberfest! Every weekend in October people and dogs can enjoy a stroll through the lush gardens while tasting a variety of beers. This special “pup” crawl invites you to visit up to four stations located throughout the Garden and enjoy free beer samplings. Once you select your favorite libation, purchase a full-sized beverage from a selection of 8 different beers, including a limited run Dogtoberfest Lager from Smog City Brewing Company. Every purchase will be paired with a complimentary dog treat for our furry friends to enjoy.
You can also dance with your pup, shop at a doggy marketplace and let your agile dog show off their moves on an obstacle course! VIP ticket holders can also capture the special memories with a 360 degree pet portrait. VIP tickets also include a free full-sized beer, souvenir mug, early entry, and more.
Dottie’s at the Koi Pond will be serving up Bratwursts, warm soft pretzels and other Bavarian favorites. And, you can’t forgetting treating your pup! Grab a “barkuterie box” for your four-legged companion.
Event Details
Dogtoberfest is a timed ticketed event with three time slots available for purchase. Each 2-hour time slot includes the same activities.
Dates: Dogtoberfest will take place every Saturday and Sunday in October
Times: Morning Time Slot: 8:30-10:30 a.m., VIP entry: 8 a.m.; Midday Time Slot:
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. VIP entry: 11 a.m.; Afternoon Time Slot: 2:30-4:30 p.m., VIP entry: 2 p.m.

Price: Tickets range from free for members to $15 for adults and $5 for kids (5 – 12), kids under 5 are free. Dogs are $5. VIP tickets are $20 for members and $35 for non-members.
