2024 Total Solar Eclipse: Through the Eyes of NASA
Experience the Total Solar Eclipse with NASA’s Virtual Guest Program
Be our virtual guest for the 2024 total solar eclipse live streaming event! On April 8, 2024, from 1 to 4 p.m. EDT, watch live with us as a total solar eclipse moves across Mexico, the United States and Canada. A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun. People viewing the eclipse from locations where the Moon’s shadow completely covers the Sun – known as the path of totality – will experience a total solar eclipse. Weather permitting, people throughout most of North and Central America, including all of the contiguous United States, will be able to view at least a partial solar eclipse.
As a virtual guest, you’ll receive curated resources, viewing information, and interactive opportunities delivered straight to your inbox as we countdown to the eclipse! Following the event, virtual guests will receive a commemorative stamp for their virtual guest passport. All resources, participation, and registration are FREE.
While there is no physical ticket for online participation nor access to in-person viewing activities, register to participate from your spot in the universe!
