Fishtival Grunion Run+ Silent Disco
We are excited to team up with Sunset Vibes Silent Disco to take our grunion Fishtival to the next level! The Aquarium doors don’t open until 8 pm, but you’re welcome to come as early as 6 pm to get food, pick up your head phones and visit the CMA Gift Shop.
Come and learn about grunion, then step outside, grab a drink, and dance with us as the sun sets on beautiful Cabrillo Beach. With 5 stages and multiple DJs we’ll have something for EVERYONE to dance to, ALL AGES ARE WELCOME!
We’re putting the FUN in Fundraiser with 50% of ALL Silent Disco ticket sales going right back to Aquarium. Tickets to the Silent Disco are separate from the Fishtival “Meet the Grunion” program which can be purchased separately ($7 for adults and $3 for seniors, students, and children), click the ticket link below and it will give instructions on how to purchase tickets for both parts of the event.
Warm clothing is recommended for chilly ocean nights and please remember the grunion may be observed, but not captured or touched.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
– Dance like nobody is watching, hatch grunion eggs, participate in grunion arts and crafts, watch a grunion movie, and see grunion on the beach.
– Food trucks will be onsite to assuage your hungry and keep you sustained while dancing.
– 5 stages, 5+ DJs spinning something for everyone (that is the goal) including: pop, and remixes from the 70’s to current day, Latin, EDM/House music, hip-hop, etc.
– Upon check-in, you’ll receive our High-Fidelity Headphones (sanitized for your safety).
– Headphones have 5 channels that can be changed with the push of a button. Each channel glows a different color so you can see what other people are dancing to. Choose your Vibe!
– Headphone range is about 1/4 mile in every direction, so please feel free to spread out, wander and dance anywhere including the beach, Aquarium, or park!
