Kids’ Races at Manhattan Beach Grand Prix 2023

Community Kids’ races at the Manhattan Beach Grand Prix are open to all boys and girls ages 2-14.

Each rider/entrant receives a souvenir T-shirt and goodie bag with registration. Medals will be awarded to all finishers at the completion of each race. And, have fun at the FREE Kids’ Zone before and after, with games and crafts for all kids.

Kids are grouped by age and gender with each heat usually being just one age group within one gender (e.g., 6 year old girls). Distance for 2-6 year olds is 60 yards and 7-12 year olds is 185 yards, see below. Street will be closed and set for races.

The kids races are popular with the audience. Local public officials assist in the awarding of the medals. Great fun for all!

Check in at the Kids’ Races Booth near the Kids Zone upon arrival, ideally by 11AM or earlier. Kids bring their own bikes and helmets.

Ages 2-6 years arrive at STAGING AREA #2 by 12:15 PM. Race starts 12:45 PM

Ages 7-12 years arrive at STAGING AREA #1 by 12:15 PM. Race starts 1:00 PM
