“The Nutcracker” at Norris Theatre
Peninsula School of Performing Arts presents its annual production of The Nutcracker at the Norris Theatre in Rolling Hills Estates, November 19 to 22, 2026. The full semi-professional production features more than 100 local children, adults and award-winning young dancers, making it a beloved holiday tradition for Palos Verdes Peninsula and South Bay families.
Herr Drosselmeier weaves an enchanted story through the dreams of Clara and her Nutcracker, from the Battle of the Nutcracker and the Mouse King to the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of the Sweets, where the Sugar Plum Fairy is danced by Riah Chen, Elodie Paterson and Gia Chung. Music is by Tchaikovsky, with direction by Tita Boulger and Vera Ninkovic.
Performances: Thursday, November 19 at 7pm; Friday, November 20 at 7pm; Saturday, November 21 at 2pm and 7pm; Sunday, November 22 at 12pm and 4pm.
