Torrance Airport Family Days Pancake Breakfast
Torrance Airport Family Days at Zamperini Field offers an exciting open house for the community, held one Saturday each quarter from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This family-friendly event invites attendees to step through the gates and explore the world of aviation with engaging activities for all ages.
Highlights include a complimentary pancake breakfast with coffee (donations are optional), arts and crafts activities for young children, and the chance for older kids and adults to experience flying on an FAA-certified flight simulator. Aviation enthusiasts can get hands-on at the STEM station, learning how airplanes are built and even pulling rivets on real aircraft parts in the aircraft build center.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see rare aircraft on display, meet the pilots who fly them, and take a short walk to the nearby Western Museum of Flight, which has generously waived its $10 admission fee for Family Day attendees.
