Manhattan Village Summer Concerts In The Plaza

Summer Concerts in Manhattan Village are back. Happening in The Plaza every Thursday night from 6–8 PM from July 11 – August 29 for a fun night out. Grab a bite before the concert or dine al fresco at your favorite Manhattan Village restaurant in The Plaza.

Manhattan Beach Summer Concerts in the Park
Sundays, June 30 – September 1
Concerts in the Park are returning to Polliwog Park in Manhattan Beach for 2024. The 10-concert series will kick off on June 30 and run every Sunday until September 1, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Polliwog Park Amphitheater.
Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics, then relax and enjoy the summer music at Polliwog Park. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Concerts in the Park are free and popular, so get there early to get a good spot on the lawn. Please leave pets at home. To reduce visibility concerns behind you, sit in low-backed seats. Please do not obstruct the aisles and be considerate of others.

Redondo Beach Summer Concerts
Free Summer Concerts at Redondo Beach Pier
Thursdays and Saturdays, July 4 – August 31
Join in the fun at the Summer of Music at the Redondo Beach Pier, where you can enjoy free concerts with an ocean view every Thursday and Saturday from 6 PM to 8 PM in July and August! Thursday nights will feature tribute bands, and Saturday night concerts will feature local acts with various styles, including Indie Rock, Soulful Pop, Pop/Rock, and more.

The El Segundo Concerts in the Park are located at Library Park and start at 4:30 PM. Food trucks will line up by 4 PM. Bring your appetite and get ready to get your groove on! Beginning at 4 PM, kids’ crafts, games, and giveaways will also be available in the Gazebo.

Torrance Summer Nights begins June 1 and runs through August 31. Most events take place at the Wilson Park Amphitheatre, located in the heart of the park behind the Splash Pad. Free parking is available.

Hermosa Beach Concert Series

The Hermosa Beach Concert Series is returning in 2024 to reboot the City’s 25-year tradition of free concerts on the beach. The Series will take place south of the Pier on the two Sundays following Labor Day weekend: September 8 and September 15. Shows begin at 3 PM.

Seaside Concerts at Shoreline Village 2024
Saturdays and Sundays, Memorial Day weekend – Labor Day weekend
Starting Memorial Day weekend and running all summer through Labor Day weekend, Shoreline Village offers free live music every Saturday, Sunday, and select holidays. Each Saturday features two shows, one from 1 PM – 5 PM and a second from 6 PM – 9 PM. Sunday concerts are held from 1 PM to 5 PM. Concerts take place at the Boardwalk Theater (by the Funnel House). Validate your parking ticket at one of their shops or restaurants for discounted parking.

Free Summer Concerts in Los Angeles
Feel like exploring music outside of the South Bay? While the Hollywood Bowl is always a must-do, Los Angeles is bursting with free outdoor summer concerts perfect for a night out with the kids.
Marina del Rey Summer Concert Series at Burton Chace Park
Select Thursdays and Saturdays, Dates TBA
Whether you prefer classical or pop, the Marina’s free outdoor concerts offer it all. If the relaxing sounds of classical tunes are up your alley, head to Burton Chace on Thursday nights. If you prefer to get up and dance, then Saturdays will get you moving with the pop series. Either way, pack a blanket and picnic, and prepare for a fantastic show by the water. Make sure to bring a jacket; it can get chilly.
In July and August, Burton Chace Park will once again host the annual Marina del Rey free summer concerts on alternate Thursdays and Saturdays. The shows start at 7 PM.

Skirball Cultural Center Sunset Concerts

The well-loved midsummer concert series is back for its 27th season! Come with friends and family to sing and dance to a diverse group of Los Angeles and international musicians.
This year’s lineup explores the diaspora and identity of African and Caribbean artists “whose music warmly embraces humanity’s inherent right to freedom.”
Off the 405, Getty Center
Select Saturdays, June 1 – August 24
Take in the beauty of the Getty Center architecture while listening to some awesome sounds. The lineup includes an eclectic mix of emerging artists, with an opening DJ set followed by the main act. The concerts are free, but advance ticket reservations are required. Shows start at 6 PM.
Free Summer Concerts in the San Fernando Valley
NoHo Summer Nights
Saturdays, June 22 – August 17
NoHo Summer Nights is an event series that takes place on Saturdays from June through August, from 7 to 9:30 PM. This year’s lineup includes a variety of cover bands with musicians ranging from Taylor Swift to Elton John. Each show also features an emerging artist as the opening act. Pack a picnic blanket and snacks to enjoy the fantastic music as the sun sets in the night sky.
Warner Center Park
Sundays, June 16 through August 25
The Valley Cultural Foundation Concerts take place on Sunday evenings from June 16 through August 25, 2024, and admission is free. Emerging Artists Opening Act performances kick off with each event at 5:30 PM. Unless otherwise specified, the headliners will start right after and end at 8:30 PM.
The shows are at the Nora Ross Bandshell in Lou Bredlow Pavilion at Warner Park. Food trucks will be on-site, but concert-goers are welcome to bring their own picnics.
Sunset Summer Concert Series at Calabasas Lake
Select Sundays, June 2, July 21, August 11 and 25
Pack a picnic dinner and a blanket, and grab a spot by the beautiful lake to enjoy these free shows. All events include free parking and entrance. Enter at the 23400 Park Sorrento location of the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center. Concerts start at 6 PM.
Glendale Summer Concerts in the Park
Select Wednesdays and Thursdays, July 10 – August 15
Spend a cool summer evening in the park with some family-friendly tunes. Bring picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs to enjoy the show. Wednesday concerts take place at Verdugo Park, starting July 10, 2024. Thursday concerts take place at Perkins Plaza, beginning August 1, 2024.
