With parks and beaches offering the perfect venues, there are so many places to enjoy a free concert in the South Bay this summer. From parks to beaches there are so many incredible places to take in a free concert throughout the South Bay.
El Segundo Summer Concerts
Live Music at The Point
Wednesdays in August
Pack your beach chairs and blankets and head to The Point for an evening of free live music. Shows run every Wednesday in August from 6pm – 8pm.

Library Park, El Segundo Concerts in the Park
Alternating Sundays, June 15 – August 24
The El Segundo Concerts in the Park are located at Library Park and start at 4:30 PM. Food trucks will line up by 4 PM. Bring your appetite and get ready to get your groove on! Beginning at 4 PM, kids’ crafts, games, and giveaways will also be available in the Gazebo.

Manhattan Beach Concerts
Manhattan Beach Summer Concerts in the Park
Sundays, June 30 – September 1
Concerts in the Park are returning to Polliwog Park in Manhattan Beach for 2025. The 10-concert series will kick off on June 29 and run every Sunday until August 31, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Polliwog Park Amphitheater.
Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics, then relax and enjoy the summer music at Polliwog Park. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Concerts in the Park are free and popular, so get there early to get a good spot on the lawn. Please leave pets at home. To reduce visibility concerns behind you, sit in low-backed seats. Please do not obstruct the aisles and be considerate of others.

Free Summer Concerts at Redondo Beach Pier
Thursdays and Saturdays, July 3 – August 30
Join in the fun at the Summer of Music at the Redondo Beach Pier, where you can enjoy free concerts with an ocean view every Thursday and Saturday from 6 PM to 8 PM in July and August! Thursday nights will feature tribute bands, and Saturday night concerts will feature local acts with various styles, including Indie Rock, Soulful Pop, Pop/Rock, and more.

Torrance Summer Nights begins June 7 and runs through August 30. Most events take place at the Wilson Park Amphitheater, located in the heart of the park behind the Splash Pad. Free parking is available.

Sundays, September 7 and 14
The Hermosa Beach Concert Series is returning in 2025 to reboot the City’s 25-year tradition of free concerts on the beach. The Series will take place south of the Pier on the two Sundays following Labor Day weekend: September 8 and September 15. Shows begin at 3 PM.

Saturdays and Sundays, Memorial Day weekend – Labor Day weekend
Starting Memorial Day weekend and running all summer through Labor Day weekend, Shoreline Village offers free live music every Saturday, Sunday, and select holidays. Each Saturday features two shows, one from 1 PM – 5 PM and a second from 6 PM – 10 PM. Sunday concerts are held from 1 PM to 5 PM. Concerts take place at the Boardwalk Theater (by the Funnel House). Validate your parking ticket at one of their shops or restaurants for discounted parking.

Feel like exploring music outside of the South Bay? While the Hollywood Bowl is always a must-do, Los Angeles is bursting with free outdoor summer concerts perfect for a night out with the kids.
Marina del Rey Summer Concert Series at Burton Chace Park
Select Saturdays in July and August
In July and August, Burton Chace Park will host the 25th Annual Marina del Rey free summer concerts on Saturdays. Whether you prefer classical or pop, the Marina’s free outdoor concerts offer it all. Each Saturday in July and August offers alternating pop and symphony concerts, featuring acclaimed artists and the Marina del Rey Symphony. Regardless of your musical preference, pack a blanket and picnic, and prepare for a fantastic show by the water. Make sure to bring a jacket; it can get chilly. Food trucks arrive at 5pm and the shows start at 7 PM.

The well-loved midsummer concert series is back for its 28th season! Come with friends and family to sing and dance to a diverse group of Los Angeles and international musicians. Doors open at 6pm. The concert is free to all, but parking is $20.

NoHo Summer Nights is an event series that takes place on Saturdays in July and August, from 7 to 9:30 PM. This year’s lineup includes a variety of cover bands with musicians ranging from Taylor Swift to Elton John. Each show also features an emerging artist as the opening act. Pack a picnic blanket and snacks to enjoy the fantastic music as the sun sets in the night sky.

The Valley Cultural Foundation Concerts take place on Sunday evenings from June 15 through August 24, 2025, and admission is free. Emerging Artists Opening Act performances kick off with each event at 5:30 PM. Unless otherwise specified, the headliners will start right after and end at 8:30 PM.
The shows are at the Nora Ross Bandshell in Lou Bredlow Pavilion at Warner Park. Food trucks will be on-site, but concert-goers are welcome to bring their own picnics.
