What kid doesn’t love to see a big shiny red fire truck?! Well here’s your chance to come hang with your local firefighters, see the trucks up close, get a tour of the station and lots of other fun activities during Fire Service Day! To increase community awareness of Fire Department services, the Los Angeles Fire Department designates the second Saturday of each May as Fire Service Recognition Day and this year’s theme is “Commit to Courage.”
