The L.A. Arboretum Reimagines Lightscape for the 2023 Holiday Season
The L.A. Arboretum is a great place to visit year-round, but it’s especially magical during the holidays! Starting November 17th and running through January 2nd, the popular botanical garden will be hosting Lightscape – an internationally acclaimed holiday light event that has been sold out in both London and Hong Kong! Lightscape features eye-catching artistic installations with color, imagination and sound throughout its 1 mile trail! New for 2023 are some brand new installations to explore!
Lightscape, a highly regarded attraction around the world, is back with beautiful new displays for 2023. This holiday season Lightscape combines nature and art in the mesmerizing Fire Garden, awesome Arch of Light, eye-catching Feast of Light, and exotic Dancing Palms. Explore these stunning displays of color, light, and sound, along with several others including the fan favorite magnificent Winter Cathedral.
During the days leading up to Christmas, Lightscape offers the chance to meet Santa Claus on specific Santa Nights: December 7, 8, 9, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 22, and 23. Mr. Claus will warmly welcome families and happily pose for photos, allowing guests to capture priceless memories with Santa using their own devices.
Each evening, visitors will be immersed in the joyful ambiance of the holiday season, as they enjoy beloved melodies such as Michael BublĆ©’s “Holly Jolly Christmas,” “Winter Wonderland,” and “Cold December Night,” as well as Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s lively rock symphonies like “Christmas Eve / Sarajevo 12/24” and “Wizards in Winter,” along with other spirited tunes that will fill the air.

The L.A. Arboretum produces Lightscape in association with Sony Music, which amazes millions of people year after year with similar shows in multiple locations across the U.K. Lightscape is creatively produced by Culture Creative and promoted in partnership with WAD Entertainment.
Lightscape opens to the public on November 17, 2023 and runs during select dates through January 2, 2024.
