Local 6 Year Old Raises Money and Awareness For Children in Need
Carter is a 6-year old in Rolling Hills Estates, California. Although he is still small, he is doing big things in his community! His mission is to help raise money for children in need this holiday season! By supporting Operation Santa Clause, he will be able to provide toys to children in Orange County. Like his mother, he wants to help those in need, and he figured out how to help in a big way!

Local 6 Year Old Raises Money and Awareness For Children in Need
As the holidays approach, there are many families that can’t afford presents for their children. Additionally, there are many children that have been abandoned, neglected, or abused and placed in the foster care system in Orange County. But, one act of kindness can change these children’s futures and give them a bright and magical Christmas morning! And, that’s why a 6-year old boy has made it his mission to make sure these children get the day they deserve by selling homemade holiday cookie jars to raise money for those less fortunate. My name is Carter. I am 6 years old. I have a younger brother named Connor who is 2 years old. I am in first grade. I love reading, playing sports and watching movies.
How Are You Supporting Your Community?
I am making holiday cookie mix jars to raise money to buy toys for children in need this holiday season.
Who Are You Supporting With This Project?
I am supporting Operation Santa Claus. They are a group that provides toys for children in need in Orange County.
What Inspired You to Do This Project?
My mom inspired me to do this project since she is a public defender and helps poor people who need legal assistance. I want to help people just like she does!
