Did you know that 15 percent of all violent crime is done by an intimate partner? Survivors of domestic violence are often silenced because friends, family, and the community do not support them. Many lose their homes, their children, their jobs, and even friends and family. Speak Your Truth Today aims to give these victims the support they need through education, resources, emotional support, and celebration of freedom.

If you or someone you know is dealing with domestic violence or abuse, please reach out and get the help you need! If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you need help, you can contact:

Tell Us About Speak Your Truth Today

Speak Your Truth Today (SYTT) is a national, award-winning nonprofit that aims to amplify the voices of victims and survivors of domestic violence through abuse education, networking resources, providing emotional support, and celebrating freedom. SYTT has one of the largest gender-inclusive, domestic violence private support groups on Facebook, with over 18,000 members. The organization has been able to help about three people escape abusive relationships every single week since forming in February 2019, after one woman opened up about her abusive marriage on Facebook. SYTT’s core beliefs are Education, Empathy, and Empowerment for the survivor.

Who Are You Supporting?

We are supporting Domestic Violence, Abuse Victims & Survivors. Survivors of DV are often silenced. “So many are silenced because our friends, family, and community don’t support them. They are silenced because our churches don’t support them. They are silenced because our Police Force, Military, and Courts don’t support them. They lose their pets, their homes, their children, their jobs, their friends, their futures they thought they knew.” So, we support them.
