Spring Break Camps in the South Bay
Redondo Beach Parks & Recreation – Ages 6-12
Dates: April 7 – 11, 2025
Camp activities include games, sports, team building activities, arts and crafts, and interactive, educational fun! The camp runs daily Monday through Friday from 8am – 5:30pm.

AdventurePlex – Ages 4-12
Dates: April 7 – 11 and 14 – 18, 2025
At AdventurePlex kids can explore new interests and stay active with their innovative programming. Fun is guaranteed with daily themes and activities including arts and crafts, music appreciation, age-appropriate physical skills-building activities, and cooperative and imaginative games.

Urban Youth Park
Dates: April 7 – 11, 2025
Camp at Urban Youth Park is the place for athletes to learn how to run up walls, vault over obstacles, swing through the bars, and flip over friends. Daily activities include a mix of parkour, trampoline and tumbling skills, Ninja warrior obstacles. (warped wall, quintuple step, etc). Campers will join in games like Nerf battles and dodgeball, create custom tie-dye t-shirts and receive camper of the day awards. Full and half day camp options are available.

Champ Camp Skate Camp – Ages 5-12
Dates: April 7 – 11, 2025
Looking for the perfect camp for your young skater? This spring break skate camp is open to kids aged 5-12 of all levels of ability! Once at camp, skate coaches will subdivide the group based on ability, interests, and itinerary. The camp runs for five days from 9am to noon. (A second camp is also available in Malibu from April 8 – 10.)

Aqua Surf Camp – Ages 5-17
Dates: April 7 – 11 & April 14 -18, 2025 (Santa Monica)/ April 14 – 18, 2025 (Manhattan Beach)
Aqua Surf offers Spring and Summer surfing programs for kids and teens aged 5-17, with half day and full day options available. They hire and train positive role models to empower campers and create a safe and enjoyable experience. Instructors tailor the program to individual needs while maintaining a group atmosphere. The camp accommodates all skill levels and maintains a 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio for safety and personalized attention.

Code Ninjas El Segundo Spring Break Camps – Ages 5-13
Dates: April 7 – 11, 2025, April 14 – 18, 2025
For the youngest campers (ages 5-7) they offer mini camps for three hours in the morning or afternoon that focus on the basics of coding and game design, microcontrollers, circuits, and other STEM-based activities. Older campers (ages 8+) can choose between a half day program focused on Minecraft, Roblox, or Robotics.

Baking Camp with Chef Arm – Ages 8-12
Dates: April 7 – 10, 2025
In this hands-on baking camp, kids will be given a different baking challenge each day and will create and decorate a variety of delicious treats like pop-tarts, cupcakes, cookies, bagels and more. This is an excellent opportunity for kids to get comfortable in the kitchen and feel empowered and confident while developing new skills that will last a lifetime! Kids will eat or take home what they make to share and enjoy. The camp runs daily Monday through Thursday in two sessions, mornings from 9am – 12pm and afternoons 1pm – 4pm.

Flight School Gymnastics – Ages 5-14

Flight school gymnastics in Torrance has created a one-of-a-kind kids’ day camp experience to help kids ages 5 – 14 years old stay active. The camp caters to a wide range of abilities and skill levels from kids who are just learning about gymnastics, all the way to advanced or competitive gymnasts. Their camp program demonstrates how gymnastics can be complementary to many other sports. They have a variety of activities including rope swing, zip line, loose foam pit, trampoline , climbing rock wall and more.

South Bay Art Department – Ages 5-16
Dates: April 7 – 11, 2025
Campers will use a variety of mediums and styles to create art projects. You can sign up for single days or a full week. Camp drop-off is at 9am and pick up is at 3pm. Morning and afternoon snacks provided and all art supplies provided. Pizza lunch (you are more than welcome to bring your own lunch!)

Torrance – South Bay Family YMCA – Ages K-6
Dates: April 7 – 11, 2025
Out of school? Ideal for working parents, this program provides a safe place for kids when school is closed that your family can count on. You’ll have peace of mind knowing that your child is in good hands, while they’re engaged in fun and meaningful games and activities throughout the day. They provide children with a great experience, led by trained, nurturing and caring staff. It’s all about discovery, as kids explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence and make new friendships and memories in a nurturing environment.
Locations: The camps are located at six different elementary school campuses across Torrance.
School of Rock Camp – Ages 7-18
Dates April 7 – 11 and April 14 – 18, 2025
In the first 5-day spring break camp session (April 7 – 11), students will learn and perform songs from some of the most popular artists of the 21st century. Monday through Friday will be spent learning and rehearsing songs culminating in a live performance at the end of the week. No experience is needed. This camp week is geared to kids ages 7 – 12. The second week (April 14 – 18) is a songwriting camp geared towards students 7 – 18 who have some previous music experience.
