Festival of Sail at LA Fleet Week presented by LAMI
Join the Los Angeles Maritime Institute (LAMI) for FOUR DAYS of tall ship sailing fun during our annual Festival of Sail at LA Fleet Week – Friday, May 24 through Monday, May 27.
Featuring FOUR SAILS each day, plus free deck tours and hands-on activities for kids and adults in our TallShip Village. Spend Memorial Day Weekend with us on the LA Waterfront in San Pedro!
Daily Event Schedule:
- Noon – 2:00 pm: Explore the Coast/Explora la Costa Bilingual STEM Educational Sails sponsored by Marathon Petroleum
Tickets: Adults $20, Seniors $10, Youth (12 & under), Active Duty and Veterans are free, but registration is required.
- 2:00 – 4:00 pm: TallShip Waterfront Sail
Tickets: Adults $60, Seniors $40, Youth (12 & under) $25, Active Duty/Veterans free; registration required
- 4:30 – 7:00 pm: TallShip Cannon Battles
Tickets: Adults $75, Seniors $50, Youth (12 & under) $2, Active Duty/Veterans free; registration required
- 6:00 – 8:30 pm: TallShip Sunset Sail
Tickets: Adults $75, Seniors $50, Youth (12 & under) $25, Active Duty/Veterans free; registration required
- 9:00 am – 5:00 pm: TallShip Village Activities and Deck Tours
Free activities for kids and adults, including Sea Scout maritime demos, kid-friendly STEAM activities, historic reenactors, unique photo-ops, knot tying, crafts and more!
- Plus, on Thursday, May 23, 5:30 – 7:30 pm, a special VIP Sail – Fleet Week Ship Tour with a view from the water!

Please note: Registration is required for FREE tickets. There are capacity limits for each vessel, so this ensures your spot! Complimentary tickets for Veterans and Active-Duty personnel made possible by the Sherry Griswold Foundation.
